Warrant canary
As of the publication date above:
- SOLARA VPN has not received any National Security Letters, FISA orders, or any equivalent gag-ordered process.
- SOLARA VPN has not been compelled to weaken, backdoor, or otherwise compromise any of the encryption used in our products.
- SOLARA VPN has not been the subject of any government request that would require us to keep this canary current.
This statement is signed and dated. If a future version of this page omits this section without explanation, treat the omission as significant.
What we have to give up if asked
By design, the following data classes are not stored anywhere we control:
- Your real IP address
- Destination IPs, hostnames, or URLs you accessed through the VPN
- DNS queries
- Connection timestamps tied to your identity
- Per-user bandwidth measurements
The data we do retain (and what would be subject to compelled production):
- A SHA-256 hash of your Apple App Store subscription receipt
- The current WireGuard public key your device is using (we never see the private half)
- Your support email correspondence, if any
None of the above identifies you to us by name, address, or real-world account. The Apple receipt hash is provided to us by Apple's StoreKit and contains no personally identifying information by itself.
Reporting cadence
We publish a new version of this report on January 31 of each year, covering the full prior calendar year. Prior versions remain accessible via this page's git history at the source repository.
